Last week we visited the carIT Congress in Hanover (http://kongress.car-it.com) - according to the organisers, the most important decision-maker summit on the megatrend connected car. Together with the BITKOM and VDA (German Association of the Automotive Industry) associations, the motto of the event was "The Digital Revolution of the Automotive Industry".
In addition to the topics that related specifically to the car, such as

some of the speakers went into great detail about the situation of the German automotive industry in international comparison - with critical remarks about the pace of e-mobility as well as the still necessary growing willingness to strive for alternative business models that can meet the demands of customers and markets in the future.
In the conversations, the topics of safety and security were brought up again and again as mandatory prerequisites for autonomous driving, but also for all the features and topics that require connectivity. A perfect entry point for our real-time operating system PikeOS.
In summary, the carIT Congress was a very interesting event for SYSGO, from which we were able to make a number of contacts and take away very important ideas for the automotive future.
